Ross ran the Winchester Half Marathon to raise money for local charity Naomi House & Jacksplace
Ross Ferguson's Story
I had an amazing time running the marathon. It was my first & I completed it in 1:39:05. I thought it was such a well put together & supported event - I'll definitely be back next year.
I ran the event as I wanted to test my fitness & to support Naomi House & Jacksplace, a local children's hospice. I have children of my own (Abby 2 & Ben 5) & I've always been so grateful that they came into this world in good health. It touches my heart to see the work that is done in this organisation for children that have not been as lucky and I wanted to make any contribution I could towards their work. I was so proud to have my own children at Sunday's race and also that I will have raised in excess of £400 for the cause.
